Nintendo games devices

Nintendo colour

The original Game boy used to be the most popular until they invented the Game boy colour, and the Game boy advanced. The Nintendo DS is the latest games device that Nintendo has bought out and is set to take over the game boy. As the normal game boy has a simple LCD screen were as the new one has touch screen features.

“Game Boy Colour is part of the range of portable powerhouses that revolutionised the way the world plays games. Over thirteen years, Game Boy has become the planet's most loved console - over 100 million units sold makes it the world's best-selling system by miles. Game Boy Colour brings a ravishing rainbow of over 32,000 possible colours to the bright 44 x 39mm screen, along with twice the processing power of its monochrome sibling for unrivalled realism on the move.”

Nintendo DS

This is the future of gaming it’s the worlds first double-screened handheld with touch screen and voice recognition capabilities, including built in communication software and wireless multiplayer features.

With two LCD screens, the DS offers a groundbreaking new approach to gaming. Each 3-inch screen is capable of producing true 3D graphics; the DS has the power to produce even more advanced visuals than the Nintendo 64 could display.
The possibilities are limitless - one screen can be used to show the main action, while another might be used as a map, inventory, or secondary viewpoint - or both screens could theoretically be used simultaneously to depict huge boss characters!”
